MA Series Hammers

BMC Series Hammers

CH Casting is a reputable brand that offers high-quality bi-metallic hammers (BMC series hammers), engineered to provide exceptional performance and durability in demanding industrial applications. Bi-metallic hammers are known for their unique construction, combining the benefits of two different materials to create a superior hammer.

The bi-metallic hammers produced by CH Casting feature a two-layered structure. The striking face of the hammer is made from a highly wear-resistant material, such as high chromium white iron or carbide inserts. This layer provides excellent abrasion resistance, allowing the hammer to withstand the impact of abrasive materials and maintain its performance over time.

The body of the hammer is made from a tough and resilient material, such as high-strength carbon steel or alloy steel. This layer provides the necessary strength and toughness to absorb and distribute impact energy, minimizing the risk of fracture or deformation.

The combination of the wear-resistant striking face and the strong body makes CH Casting’s bi-metallic hammers highly durable and long-lasting. They are designed to withstand heavy loads, repeated impacts, and harsh operating conditions, resulting in reduced downtime and maintenance costs.

CH Casting’s bi-metallic hammers are engineered with precision to ensure a secure and reliable bond between the two layers. The manufacturing process involves advanced welding or casting techniques, ensuring a strong and seamless connection between the materials.

These hammers are widely used in industries such as mining, quarrying, and construction, where abrasive materials and heavy impact forces are common. They are commonly employed in crushers, shredders, and other equipment used for crushing, grinding, or pulverizing various materials.

BMC Series Hammers’ Characteristics

  1. Special composite casting process. The BMC series hammers’ handle is made of high chromium alloy material, and the shank is made of low alloy steel material with good toughness. The two materials with different performance and efficacy are fused into one under liquid-liquid state by using thermal compound, which solves the phenomena of fracture, falling block, falling head, etc., which are easy to occur in the hammer head with alloy and twice compound casting, and improves the safety of hammers used.
  2. Special element ratios. In addition to carbon, chromium, silicon, manganese, copper, molybdenum, and other elements, vanadium, titanium, antimony, rare earth, and other elements are added to refine the grain and improve wear resistance.
  3. Optimized heat treatment process. BMC series hammers heat treatment process is heated to 1100 ℃ insulation, and then out of the furnace, chemical water toughness treatment, and then 600 ℃ low-temperature tempering after the furnace air-cooled, the hardness can reach 62HRC-65HRC, the process is mature, the hammer hardness and toughness requirements are very high.
  4. Reliable performance for a wide range of applications. BMC series hammer has high anti-wear efficacy and safety performance, effectively solving the contradiction between hardness and toughness, it is a wear-resistant hammer head for the crushing of limestone with abnormal SiO2*, especially suitable for crushing hard, high SiO2, strong abrasive limestone, adapts to work under severe abrasive wear conditions, and has a longer service life than ordinary high manganese steel hammers.
